Stem Bearing

There is a rumor a member on here did his stem bearings Plus change his shock oil. Said it was easy.... would be nice to hear what he did to get it done

I would love to see a video when he gets back from riding.
I have seen many Videos on the Vaquero/Voyager but forks and bearings are ones I really would like to see. It would really be helpful in the future. Had to trade in the 15oo classic ( new bike vs cost to repair) because I could not figure it out. Read the book and looked a pics, but I suck at those things.

I know that Hammer posted a thread about the stem bearings at

I also believe that he did change his fork oil but not sure if he did posted it.

Do you have a service manual. I'm no handier than the next guy but I found that removing the forks and servicing them was very easy when following the instructions. I haven't done the steering head bearings yet but I will do it this spring. I feel a lot more confident that I could fix what needs fixing on the road after doing a lot of my own service work at home
