From Vanaagans Excuse my ignorance but was does BAK stand for?
Big Air Kit

Allows the engine to breath more efficiently but you really need to also change the exhaust. Doesn't help if what goes in can't get out.

The torque pulses from that 1700cc engine are brutal on the drivetrain, like everything, things have got to loosen up some. Especially those stiff motor mounts. Also, after the belt stretches slightly, she'll smooth out. Shes not even making full power yet! Everythings new, isn't broke in....I'd say after about 1800 miles, it'll be right as rain....just give her some time and some miles....
Kawasaki built one helluva machine with the Vaquero, she won't really truely smooth out till about 18,000 miles, just be patient, you'll be glad you did.

No worries. BAK stands for Big Air Kit. Or basically an aftermarket air intake with filter. Flows way more air to the motor than the stock set up.

That's all normal. There is nothing wrong with the bike, that's just where the fan kicks in (a little over half way). It has a lot to do with all the plastic fairing/lowers blocking all the cooling wind. Just do a search on that topic and you'll find loads of comments.....and some fixes that work.

I have a 2016 Voyager with 1800 miles on it. Started smoothing out more around 1500 miles, I expect it to smooth out more yet. They say 1000 miles for break-in but realistically can be closer to 3000 to 5000 miles for full break-in. As soon as I get the money I will be getting Ivan's flash.
