with your saddlebags being different than my Nomads I would suggest checking with your local KAW dealer.

I believe it should but haven't researched and suggest you check yourself. I have one from a 1600 and it won't fit my Voyager and your bike should be the same as mine roughly. Here was someone selling one a while ago for allot more and think it is the same as what they have now.

thanks for the info.... I thought the 1700 nomad was same rear mounting as the Vaquero?? I could be wrong. The closest Kawi dealer doesn't know... they are a newer smaller dealer, and don't have a lot of bikes there

You bike is exactly the same and just don't have the passenger backrest. I think I should get a cut for all the research - you owe me a coffee...

The Saddle bag brackets are identical part#39137

I think they're different part numbers.

Saddlebag brackets.
Vaq (rt side)= 39137-0559
Nomad (rt side) = 39137-0049

Frames.
Vaq = 32160-0536-18R
Nomad = 32160-0322-18R
Voyager = 32160-0321-18R
