Speedo Healer
Hello All, I am planing on making my own speedo healer. What I need is where is the signal coming to in the speedo. I want to cut the wire at the tank and interrupt it there. Looking for which wire it is? I understand there is a frequency coming from the engine. Your help would be appreciated.

The speed sensor is located on the left side of the motor, right at the bevel gear by the U joint. You will have to remove the lh engine cover to see it. As for what the wires there do I have no idea.

I am not looking for the wire coming from the sensor, I am looking for the wire that connects at the SPEEDO. That is where I want to cut the wire from the sensor.

That will be one of the same wires, check to see what color they are at the speed sensor, and then find it at the speedometer head. Looking in the manual would save you looking at the speed sensor end of the wiring.

Why not just go with the one from heal tech ? They aren't that expensive and they plug right in to the factory wiring. I'd be very Leary of splicing into the wire harness. Seems like a recipe for problems.
