EJK settings

Hey guys. I am in Montana and seem to be having some trouble dialing in my EJK. Runs fine on the road, however at low RPM's and at idle seems to bog down if I twist the throttle hard. It isn't lag almost its not getting enough air. Any sugestions. Pro pipe, throttle mod, and BAK installed. Even just which setting to adjust would be good.

If I was in Montana, I would go to Dobeck Performance and have them dyno tune the bike. I had lengthy conversations with Dallas Fischer over there and he told me they have only run 2 1700s. In any event, the best settings I ever had on the bike were

g 2 y 2 r 1
gb 5.5. yb 3.5. rb 4.5

I have since moved on to the Power Commander 5

If you haven't done Ray's throttle mod yet, that would also be something to consider, it's made a huge difference on smoothing out the throttle response (herky-jerky/bucking) at low rpm. on my Vaq. and many many others. And like Ken said, a dyno could be helpful. Good luck. Cheers

You need more fuel at idle /acceleration. Lag is not a lack of air, but a lack of fuel.

Now if you are smoking badly and have raw fuel smell, then you have too much fuel.
