Question about installing aftermarket pipes:
Funds will be a bit tight after purchasing my new ride. If I just buy a set of V&H pipes, can I install them without doing anything else to the bike so long as I don't change from the stock air intake? Or will I have to install a Power Commander of some sort to keep the bike from running too lean?

If more air can't get in than more air won't get out.
It should be fine without a fuel processor.

I had my Nomad running with just some V&H duals for a couple years without moding the air intake and adding a TFI. So I can say, just pipes, you will have no issues. Just don't change your air intake until you have a fuel processor.
One day I came across a really good deal on a plug and play TFI, so I got it and did the Cadman air Intake mod. I dialed in the TFI and my mind was blown!! If you want your Nomad to come alive, defiantly add a TFI and air intake when you can. It will make your bike fill like a totally different bike!! The added power is impressive. I regret waiting so long on doing the big 3.
