First welcome, you might want start a new post asking your question.
You might get more response as this is a 7 year old thread that seriously got trained wrecked.

Not sure if the 1500's are the same, but 1600's have 2 drain plugs one flat on the bottom and a second one set on a angle with a screen in it.
You will need to drain the oil, clean the area well and then you have a few choices if it is the plug in the flat section of the case.
1: dirty and cheap, if there are still threads that the plug can be at least finger tightened, clean any oil off the threads and smear lots of JB weld on them then hand tighten. Use the screen plug for further oil changes.
2: take the plug to a auto parts store, they usually will have some kind of rubber plug that tightens up in the hole. I would use the other drain as well for futur oil changes.
3: the better way is to have some one put in a helicoil or rent from a auto parts store the tool. This method will tap the thread somewhat oversize and a steel thread will be inserted.

There are tapered plugs made with 4 open slots that will self tap into a drain plug. I am hoping this is the bottom plug and not the side one with the screen. because once you install this type of plug it's not a good idea to ever use it again.

Then you don't want to use it again anyway. The screened plug is lower yet and the better place to change oil from. This side plug has 4 large open slots and so you do no want to man handle that plug. It also has a rubber O ring seal. There is a large flat washer and spring for the screen and the screen has one closed end. Do not reverse the screen ever. You can remove the screen for cleanings every so often like each 3rd oil change. It is common for the screen to have crudlings the first time is is used for changing oil but not much of anything gets in it until some other engine work is done , like a clutch spring, where gasket bits and goo if any is used get into the oil. If I see this posted new I will also reply there.
