Chuck A, I traded at Longshore Cycle in Florence, AL. jlreeves, yes Murray is about 45 minutes from my house. Go through it quiet often with the football team. Thanks for all the welcome posts everybody. I got the bike home today through all the rain. Waiting for somebody to help me get it off the trailer and hoping the rain stops tomorrow so I can go for a ride!

Got to ride my new bike quiet a bit the past two days. Bout had a nervous breakdown yesterday when I took her off the trailer finally and tried to start her up and she wouldn't quiet fire. Threw the cables to her and jumped her off and she has been running fine every since. Even convinced my girl to ride this morning and she liked it enough to agree to ride the hour ride to my moms house. She gets a little nervous in some sharper turns and likes to lean away so I have to go quiet a bit slower to give myself more time to correct. Hopefully after enough riding time she will get comfortable enough to follow my body. Other than that she did great. Looking forward to more alone riding time though. She handles like a dream and smooth as glass when I open her up. Huge upgrade from the 750!

Welcome from Alberta Canada. Glad you love the new ride. I upgraded a couple years ago to mine from a 750 shadow, huge difference in comfort. Don't worry your girl will get use to the ride. When I bought my first bike my wife didnt hardly talk to me for a week let alone ride on it for the first year. Since I bought the Nomad she loves being on the back and just goes wherever the bike leads her.
