You don't have to return the defective muffler?

No sir. He told me just keep it. I told him I tossed my stockers (little white lie) and was not going to have the bike out of service because of their screw up.

The outer skin of the defective muffler is flawless. I will install tomorrow morning.
So you got to keep the messed up one, that is pretty good customer service.

Yep and I knocked the baffle straight, well better than what it was with a rubber mallet, so now I have a spare in case the new one ever gets gashed which I highly doubt but you never know. The defective one is all polished up and in the box the new one arrived in.

The new muffler went on super easy. Cleaned the surface, started the bike and let the smoke rise.
