Haha Smbke! Loafer is definitely my father! When I was thinking of a username for this site I was joking with him that I could use 'Home Slice' or 'Loaf junior'.
Man I'm wishing the weather was better for riding here. The bike is certainly calling my name.

Welcome from Vancouver, love the bike, but then I'm a little partial to Blue and silver bikes.

Thanks everyone for saying hi and welcoming me here. It's pretty cool how widespread the members of this site are.
I haven't ridden my bike much since I got it due to the cold weather and salt on the roads but I will tell you that the few miles I was able to ride it were awesome. Even in 22 degree weather I was so impressed by the comfort of the seat/driver's backrest/floor boards, the ability of the windshield and lowers to block the cold wind, the super comfortable ergonomics, etc. Compared to my SV650S this new bike is just SO much more comfortable in every way. I am chomping at the bit to get out and ride in some good weather. It's going to be a long winter for me. Actually, I had kind of gotten sick of the SV and winter hasn't been bothering me that much for a few years. It's nice to have a bike to be excited about again! Again, thanks to all the cool people who stopped by to say hi. |
