Cool shot. Bears are amazing animals. On my motorcycle trip to Alaska this summer we ran in to about 20 black bears and 2 grizzlies.

Cool. Is it rare to see black bear in your neck of the woods? Here in Az I've seen bear in the wild just once. Up in the higher elevations. She had a cub with her too.

Nice video! I just got back from moose hunting last night. This is a pic of a moose Thursday morning that came running right towards me, and stopped about 25 feet away, we looked at each other for a couple minutes before he trotted off. The fella with the tag didn't show up this week due to a last minute emergency so we had to let him walk.

No there not rare. I've seen them several time over the last 20 years just not that close. Our bear has made a great come back over the last 20 years or so. So much so that now the northern half bear zone one lets hunter take 300 bear a year.Arkansas at one time had the largest black bear population of any other state and had the nickname the "Bear State".

Being an Arizona desert rat the only time I saw a moose was while stationed 1 year in North Dakota. I was out rabbit hunting and this moose stepped out of the brush about 30 yards ahead of me and just stood there. What a monster! Its like the grand canyon; pictures don't do it justice, you have to see it with your own eyes to realize just how big it is.

No bears here yet but lots of coyotes and turkey. Saw a few small feet but nothing major this year. 2 months left of hinting and I am getting desperate. Great video thanks for sharing

The regular bear season in PA. was over last Wednesday and on the news the largest bear was reported to be 675 lbs. The county I live in 29 bears were shot. Wednesday we had several inches of snow. Thursday morning I was in the woods and followed bear tracks for 1/4 mile. It was a lucky bear.
