Crying exhaust

Has anyone de- baffled their factory exhaust on a 2013 vaquero.....just got the bike and would like to improve the exhaust sound...can not afford to buy new pipes. Drilled through with the first plate but cant get anything out.

Instead of asking for advice first, you just plowed ahead and started drilling baffles?
