Smile ClearView Windscreen

Hi everyone,
Just thought I'd give a quick review of my new ClearView windscreen for my 2012 Vaquero.
PROS:
Nice recurve.
I can now hear my music clearly without maxing the volume.
My test ride was on a pretty windy day and it performed nicely.
No buffetting.
Not one bug hit me in the face.
You can get a vent added to the bottom of the shield for a nominal fee.
Nice packaging for shipping.

CONS:
Don't be in a hurry if/when you order one. They don't stock ANY shield. All are made to order.

(Also, kudos to Brian @ ROK for getting me some extra stickers)

Do you look over the top, or through it?

Nice

Either works. With the curving of the shield, there is a little distortion. But not too bad.

I will echo most of what the original poster said. I ordered a Clearview and it performs well, took awhile to receive but they told me that up front and met the time line they gave me. The only negative I can say is I wish the shield I bought for my Honda was thicker so it does not shake. The shaking does not appear to affect the performance it is just a slight visual distraction.Which I did not have with my Cee Baileys or my Aeroflows that I have had in the past.
Overall I can't say that any of the three stand out over the other two. YMMV.
I can say that Cee Baileys was better than the stock one on my Nomad 1500.

I didn't notice any shaking on mine Probably a dumb question; but is it torqued down well?

same one I have, but with the vent, I was lucky and got one that they had in stock due it having a small blemish, which I am still trying to find. I love it, and I have tried a number of different shields, this is the only one I have never given a thought to changing. Mine is rock solid as well, no shake.

Voyagers come stock with a taller windshield...Vaqueros come with a little black 7 inch thing that as far as I could tell was for looks only
If you measure yours from the bottom of the windshield to the top, I'll bet it's more than 17 1/2 inches...Unless of course you are all legs~

(Both Voyager & Vaquero use the same replacement windshields BTW)
