Bring rain gear.

While it is difficult/impossible to predict the weather 7 days out, the forecast calls for rain almost every day in Mountain Home next week.

Most of the days show less than a 50% chance of rain; however Tuesday/Wednesday show a 90% chance.

Think positive and maybe we will luck out...

I hope you meant Mountain View and not Mountain Home.

Just double-checked my reservation at the Best Western Plus in Hannibal, MO.

It is confirmed.

I asked the person at the BW where to park my motorcycle when I get there because I really don't want to have to park across the street. She said they like to put the bikes upfront under the canopy if possible.

That is only the second hotel I have been to that lets you do that. (Marriott Courtyard, Lacrosse is the other.). So far the place is gaining points with me!

Parking under the canopy will be nice if we can all get under it...

Am packing now so I'll be ready in the morning to roll.

Cal is not going to be able to ride to Hannibal with me. He wasn't able to get a new tire put on his bike. He was just riding to Hannibal then going back home on Sunday.

I am here in Des Moines. Picking up my grandson and we head out tomorrow AM. Will stay in Branson Sunday eve at a lodge were he can pool it. Monday morn we head to Ark and should get there by 1-2 PM. See ya all then.

Rayski, Gibby, Dmac (Denny & Sally), and my wife and I made it to mountain view at 4ish today. We took the scenic route from Hannibal. 200 miles of it were nothing but twisties the entire way. Quite a work out but what a great road.

We took rt-19 from just south of Hannibal. Highly recommend the route for anyone that likes to be constantly twisting and turning.

We all admit we are tired from it, but we all had smiles. Another day of riding tomorrow, since the weather might get questionable on Tuesday.
