That 130 brought the bike alive. I would never have gone back to a 150, and later Nomads than mine and the Voyager all have 130 fronts OEM.

I will add my $.02 here as well I have now put over 10,000 miles on my rear and 5,000 on my front and I will never buy another tire. The rear is finally starting to show wear, looks to be 40-50% worn, and the difference in handling at all speeds with the 130 on the front is like night and day.

Love the Commander II's

Front and back on 12 Voyager. Rear has about 7300 miles on it and still has 6/32s tread depth, just checked it this morning. Front has 2900 miles and 4/32s tread. Ride and handling are good for the way I ride, not overly agressive, and mostly 2up. Just wish they came in wide white walls. Hear that Michellin?

Put a Commander II on the back of my Vaquero. Absolutely love it in when it's dry outside. Great feel and feedback. Decent grip. Very nice ride.

Finally had it in the rain a "bit" the past week and a half, and I'm not happy with the wet weather handling. Felt like I was ice-skating. Seemed like every corner I went in to, I ended up drifting out of...which I've been wanting to practice on this bike...so I guess it's not all bad....

Ordering a front today, and I'm probably going to get the 888, and will match that on the back when it's time.

UPDATE-

Ordered a Pirelli Night Dragon for the front. Prob fewer miles that the 888 or the Commander II, but grip is more important to me. Should be here today...feedback to come.

I just went with a 140/90/16 on the front and 180/65/16 size on back. Dealer did not want to drop me two sizes to 130 on the front. Has improved handling, but only had them on for a few weeks.

Basically what Peg said. Running the Commander IIs front and back. Love them so far. I considered the same thing (putting The 50 rear on front) but after seeing the two sizes next to each other, hardly any difference. Couldn't be happier with the result. 180/65/16 on rear and 130/90/16 front.

I had the Commander IIs installed about 4 weeks ago. Noticed a definite positive difference in handling, mostly I and out of curves. Only have a little over 200 miles on them but more than satisfied with them so far.
