Western Canada Region Only....Are You Serious .....
about, or at least seriously thinking about attending the Rally this summer/July in Orofino Idaho?
Let's keep this poll for the Western Canadian Region members ONLY !! I thought I would start a dedicated thread/poll just to see. Let's keep this thread simple and to the point. Maybe keep it to a YES or a"strong"or"weak" maybe. Or a flat ....No. Minds can be changed of course along the way.....shit happens and we all know that. There are a couple of us who are serious and it would be great to have one or more groups that want to ride down together to attend. So I'll start .... and see just who IS serious My double queen room is booked.

So true Greg! Talk about your once in a lifetime episode (hopefully). Never want that experience again.

I'm still a strong maybe but more a yes at the moment. I'm going to guess you're the other "strong maybe" Let's make some kind of plan to meet up and ride down together. ......we've both had our own deer instances, so that's out of the way. But always cautious just the same. Once is enough for that kind of thing. !! How are you at planning a route? Would you prefer the Hwy. to get down there and take a little longer on the back roads to come home or visa versa, or maybe the long way there and back. Are you time limited for time??? [ work, your son's work, etc.]

You have to call them. The Internet doesn't work for the block.

I booked last month and they told me, there are as many rooms as we need but only a certain number blocked out for us.
As far as other places to stay, Joel could probably help you but just Google "places to stay in Orofino Idaho" ......just a suggestion. For those of you guys sure they are going to go ...plan your route and see if you can come up with a place where a bunch of us could hook up along the way and ride into Orofino together....if you want!

Rick, it looks like I may be coming but Deb won't be able due to lack of holidays (saving for Europe next spring). We should arrange to meet up.

Sounds good Kevin,... Europe is something worth saving for, but tell Deb not to worry if she can't make it, I'll take good care of you and make sure you don't get into any trouble, socially.

....hey Rick....
Wish I could offer you more info on the Orofino trip. I'm hoping to go and if Lorna's health holds up, she will be along as well. Brad, my son, is hoping as well to be able to come. I stay with him here in Edmonton while working and we have discussed what plan he might have as far as hooking up with me to start the trip. Possibly coming to my place in Armstrong and leave from there or maybe meeting him down in the Kootenays somewhere. Is gonna be tough to pinpoint a departure date at this time so we will have kinda to wait and see. It would be good to hook up with you and any others for the ride there. Have you planned a date to head out? Any routes you have thought about? Let me know what you are thinking. When it warms up and I can get some time to spend at home, I'd like to take a ride up your way and we can chat it up about the rally. Mike
