Quick release windshield brackets

Has anyone put these quick release windshield brackets on their 1700 Nomad? If so how do you like them?

I've never even seen those before. Isn't the 1700 similar to the 1600? Just four bolts and the shield is off, right? Seems like a lot of money to spend when it's already so easy.

It is 4 bolts but takes a little time getting off and back on with the lowers. The lowers are bolted in at the same time with spacers. I'm curious if the lowers are able to stay on the bike with this setup and just pop the windshield off as needed.

Very expensive kit! Plus, you lose your windshield height adjustment capability. The kit sets your windshield at maximum height only, which may be fine if you are tall...

There is also no guaranty that the kit will work with your stock Vulcan Lowers...although I seem to remember reading about a 1700 Classic owner who was able to use the Nomad Lowers and a similar kit after modifying the lowers somewhat.
