Backrest

Well, between work and rain I have managed to put almost 300 miles on my Vaquero in the first week of owning it. I am really enjoying the bike so far. I have been searching for a passenger backrest so my wife can enjoy it with me but I have found that there aren't many options out there yet for these bikes. I was looking at the Jardine billet backrest with the swiveling pad but the side plates and quick release brackets are not available for the Vaquero. I am wondering if I would be able to mate this backrest with the Kawasaki KQR plates and brackets? Anyone with a KQR here who could take some measurements for me? I need to know the outer width of the backrest posts where they attach to the side plates and the spacing, center to center, of the two bolt holes on the posts where they attach to the side plates.

Sorry, haven't been on here lately. I don't need the measurements anymore. Ended up buying a Mustang seat with driver and passenger backrests. My wife and I love it. Thank you for the reply though.

I was looking at that seat also but with both driver and passenger backrest it was running over $800, so I'll hold off... Did you buy it new or used? I couldn't find a uses one anywhere.

I bought new. Best price I found for both was West End Motorsports.
