Thx for the heads up. They are supposed to be identical standard slip-ons, asked that question to the seller. We'll see.

I should be getting all the parts in this week and hope to get them on this weekend. I will let you know how they sound and try and get a video clip up.

Got the mufflers today and they are straight thru style on both so that's good. Not real sure they are Freedoms or a knockoff as they don't have any markings on them. Either way they are in better shape than I thought and are gonna look good, just have to see how they sound. Will keep you guys posted.

After doing some internet searching I'm pretty sure these are Screamin Eagle Street Performance Touring mufflers. They are the older style without the 'Screamin Eagle' stamped on them, which I'm glad for. Got a few minutes to work on the bike and have the head pipes on hand tight and mufflers test fit and think they are gonna go really well on the bike. It may be a couple weeks before I get it all done since my duaghter has been given a trip to Disney by the Make A Wish Foundation (kidney cancer survivor in remission) but I'll try and add some pics and a sound clip.

I know it's off topic but are they sending her through kids get the world? Reason I'm asking is my son has been given a Disney world trip through dreams come true and that's who they go through, in fact we meet with them today about it.

I got a pair of Freedom Performance slant slip ons from a friend of mine for $40. Came off his Harley.
I like em! Nice deep sound but not to loud. Bike seems to have more power/rpm now.

Yes, Give the Kids the World is hosting and we are staying at their resort village. It looks like it is setup for the kids to have an amazing time. We did our interview about a year ago so it took some time to get it all setup but it will be worth while. Hope that you get yours setup.

Well I snuck out this morning before we left for just a minute and started the bike up even though the mufflers are being held on with zip ties, there are no clamps on the mufflers and the exhaust washers are just snugged up. Just let it idle for a minute but I'm happy with the sound, nice beep rumble but doesn't seem to be overly loud. Can't wait to get back and get it all buttoned up and take it for a spin.
