Went 500 miles round trip. I would hate not being able to ride. I feel for you, guys.

Yeah, my son and I have tried to get a January1st ride in each year, but it often does not work out. Too much snow and ice this year. So I put my bike on life support until spring this past week. Even if the snow melts, still have to wait on rains to wash away all of the salt. So I'll focus on planning some big rides for next summer and enjoy the great riding weather when it returns.

3 of us went ridin New Year's day, 375 miles. Round lake Okeechobee and surrounding parts. Only disappointment was the little restaraunt in Indiantown we go to for breakfast was closed, we were too hungry to ride up to Okeechobee, so we joined other bikers for b/fast at a Burger King. UUGG!!
Came back with lotsa dead bugs on the front!

We're heading up to the UDT/Seal museum next weekend. Let me know if you want to come with us.

Hard cold stuff good for cooling adult beverages.......have had little luck in past riding on it with anything that has less than 3 wheels........tires vs ice equals minimal friction (friction = traction = upright)

We keep that stuff in our freezers. What foolish soul would put it on the road?
