Another windsheild question
I have an 06 Nomad, I was looking at Gadget"s site and read where you can leanback the windsheild to get better air flow and a little better fuel milage. Have had this done several years now. Looking at a new Clearview windshield and see that it 2" wider that OEM. So the question is has anyone tryed this other tham myself. an what do you think about the laid back windshield.

I tried that several years ago. The wind would hit me in the helmet with the shield all the way up. I too have thought of a clearview with a lip and taller so I could try it again..

I have the taller and wider clearview with the lip on top.
I don't get any buffeting and don't need to lean it back.

Maybe a Laminar Lip would help?

No vent. I bought it to better keep the wind off me so didn't think I needed a vent.

I will be replacing the Nomad windshield with a clear view and was thinking about a vent but will probably pass. I was wondering if with the vent at 75 MPH you got any head buffeting with the vent. Bob

I have heard people say the vents rattle though. We have enough noises with the Nomads without adding more
