Back to CO and WY - Trip

Tomorrow I will hit the road for a 4 day trip. I know where I will be riding day 1 and 2 but have not worked out day 3 and 4 yet. Day 2 will put me in Medicine Bow, WY where I will stay in the historical Virginian Hotel (this has been on my "bucket list"). The weather looks perfect - hope it stays that way.

Day 1
Day 2
Med. Bow Hotel

Did you hit the jackpot? If I'm not mistaken this is your 3rd or 4th road trip this season. Good on you, looking forward to your report and photos.

Ride with the wind and due care!

Oh, I see. I was just telling my wife that I want to go 60 or 50% load at work. She approves the idea, provided we hit the jackpot this Friday.

bill i will warn you that the virginian's definition of historical means that they haven't made any improvements for the last 100 years or so.shared bathrooms at the end of the hall and hope you enjoy the trains that come thru all night.

Wyoming State Hwy 296 north of Cody is amazing and beautiful. 5 stars. Hwy 14 through the Big Horn Mts at Shell is really good too. 4 stars.

Bob - you got that right. And, the beds were built for folks 4-6" shorter than me. All in all, it was an experience that I enjoyed - once.

And, those trains - the track is less than a qt mile from the hotel and one runs by every 20 minutes!!
