Trip Report (NE-CO-WY-NE)

SlideShow

Trip Report (NE to CO to WY back to NE)
· On the road 4 days and 3 nights.
· AV MPG – 39.5
· Miles traveled -1,650
· Due to very (I mean very) smoky conditions crossing the Rockies I took no pics.
· Stayed in the Historical Virginian Hotel in Medicine Bow, WY – discovered that Historical Hotels also have historical bars. Every cowboy and cowgirl for 50 miles around were in that bar the night I spent there. Great time!! But, little sleep.
· Equipment Problems: Lost the “guts” to my headlight. New parts to rebuild cost me $234.00. On the last day, my Air Hawk went flat on me. Ouch! Now trying the new R model.
· Weather – some rain on day 1 (Frog Toggs on for about 1 hr). Cool tem was 41 and high temp was 83. No wind.

Sounds like you had a good time. Too bad about the headlights. Do you have the replacement parts yet?

Parts not here yet. Still going to ride this weekend as my Cobra spot lights work and are bright.

Now that's a nice touch to a great looking trip. Glad you kept yourself out of trouble with all the pretty cowgirls around you.
