Well I took some great advice and bought the battery tender first. It charged and it fully and it now stays on that thing if I am not riding. I took a 650 mile ride from Central Alabama up to Paint Rock Valley in North AL then up thru Winchester TN. The bike performed FLAWLESSLY! Great, smooth ride and lots of power going up the mountain. Love this bike. Thanks for everyone's advice. BTW I took the battery out and it was corroded on the POS side. I cleaned it with a wire brush and a coke! No more clock/trip issues!!!!
