No. I haven't caught the fairing bug yet. I was just saying what would look better. I did not mean to confuse you or screw with your post. Sorry.

I don't have a Reckless fairing to sell you but you know there are other options, right? Unless you have your heart set on one of theirs, you might want to do some more research. No sense limiting your options if you're willing to do a bit of work.

There is the HD batwing fairing (from the Electra Glides) as well as 4 or 5 other aftermarket manufacturers. If you plan on adding any gauges, I think the HD fairing looks the best but it's also alot more work. The Reckless just bolts on. With the HD fairing, there's some fabrication involved for sure. You can probably do an HD for about the same price as the Reckless not including gauges, especially if you can fab your own mounts/brackets. If not, Joe Norris (Chuckster) can make some for you. More work if you add gauges as you're also adding a bunch of wiring but the end product is super. I have water temp, fuel, oil press, volts, HD tach and I'm working on figuring out the HD speedo, all in the fairing. One of the things I like about the HD fairing is the aftermarket support, especially windscreens. There are almost an unlimited number/type of those out there by a bunch of manufacturers so you can always find one that suits your style, comfort and wallet.

Thanks for all that info. I think the Reckless is the way I would go.

You could also look at wide open customs, they have a pretty sharp fairing too, it was second on my list behind the reckless.
