The HD Ultra is probably the best touring bike out there and is so easy to ride it's hard to believe unless you get in the saddle and try it for yourself but I still love my Nomad and if I never had purchased the Ultra I would have said the Nomad was the best touring bike as I have had it on many long rides including my ride around Canada last year so I suppose the moral of this little story is don't knock any bike until you try it!
Having said that I still couldn't see me riding a motorhome...ooops sorry I meant GoldWing

GoldWings generally win the shootouts for best touring bike but I always felt they lacked "soul" and were too automotive like. As for the Harley its like any other bike, Kawasaki included, when you get tired of it try something else. I only wish that BSA had risen from the dead like Triumph--then I would buy and never get tired of it maybe.

That sounds like a good name for a 50's style DoWahp group "Mikey and the Overtones"

Somehow I feel you took a swipe at me, but I'm a nice guy and gonna save my blithering jackass insult name for another more appropriate thread.

Which is one of the reasons why I'll get a Victory Vision for my next bike.

I have riden my friends ultra and it is very nice
And we have a victory dealer in town so i have riden several of them and they ride nice but are butt ugly.
I am a kawasaki guy so i will either upgrade my nomad or get a vaquero
Either way i will have thousands of dollars leftover to purchase upgrades or whatever i want

OK, here are some pics I took with my Blackberry. Not very good quality pictures. I'll take some with my good camera with the bike in the sun. The paint is amazing in sunlight.

I was at the dealer today and I looked to see if they had one like yours on the floor. They didn't, so I guess I'll have to wait to see it in Antlers.

They had a black/yellow/white CVO that looked really sharp. Too rich for my blood, though.

Nice looking bike, my friend.

The orange looks much better in your pictures than on the HD website, a lot better.

Nice! They look better up close. My brother and I have looked at them because he likes that color and wants a Limited. He has a white Road King.

Holy Can You See Me Now Orange.
I will say that's a bunch better than the Barney Bike.
Hope you like your new ride and have many safe and happy miles on it.

Get the HD center stand. I use mine all the time. You'll also come to curse the wheel design when checking the air pressure. I use Chek-a-spare hose. Makes it a lot easier.
