new to this forum & Kawasaki

Hello all,
I'm FNTMWLF (phantom wolf). I've been riding since I was 18. In all that time I've only ridden YAMAHA motorcycles. Last bike was a great one the Raider. I went down on the Freeway, I survived my bike didn't. Before the accident I was thinking about adding a fairing to the Raider. So when I was ready to get back on a bike, I wasn't sure what direction to go in. Get another Raider or something better suitable for two up riding. Then one day while looking for deals on a Raider I came across the Vaquero on the dealership floor. Looked at the price, and said I like it but can't afford it. Looked around for better deals on another Raider. After about two months of seeing the Vaquero sitting there. The dealer dropped the price about 4,000. My wife kept saying make up your mind either get or don't. But make a decision. So at 14,988.00 out the door I got my first Kawasaki and first bagger in one shot. At 1360 miles I really enjoy this bike. So anyone in the Long Beach or South bay want to ride pm or call 562-477-7692.

Welcome to the forums and congrats on your new ride.

The Vaq is an attractive bike and I faced a similar dilemma just last year. In my case, my wife suggested that we could not buy a new bike every other year, no matter how good the bike is and its price. She also made it very clear for me that I actually want a 'Glide which is manufactured by a company located in Milwaukee. A man should listen to his wife advise...

I still like the Vaq though, admire its massive v-twin motor, love the bags and the stereo equipment looks impressive, too.

Will you post some photos? Enjoy your Vaquero!

Elvis

I love the Vaq!
I'm hoping that my family will see the light and buy one for me.
If that happened, color wouldn't matter.
