Edmonds Enterprises - Nomad Lowers

Hi, has anyone ever called Sid Findley? He sent me the wrong lowers and I've been emailing him for two days and no reply. There's no phone number on his website and riding from Tucson to north of Houston is a little too much to exchange for the right ones.

I wasn't impressed with the instructions. It says to use the original hardware to mount. The new lowers are twice as thick as the originals. They should let you know that prior to ordering and either supply the new bolts or tell you what length to buy.

Good thing I didn't need these in a hurry.

If anyone has a phone number, let me know.

Thanks,

Sight Seer

Nope one on each side. Directions were fine and I emailed Sid with a question before I bought them so install was easy except for the bolts. His are twice the thickness as the ones on the 1700 and the bolts were just a little too short, even if i didn't use the washer.

With the original lowers on, the bolts stick out just enough for the nuts to fasten on with a couple of twists.

The new ones are twice as thick so there's no bolt sticking through for the nut to fasten to.

Going on day 4 and haven't heard back from Sid.

No one has his number?

So go to ACE hardware and buy 4 longer bolts.

Yeah ACE is my local go to place for bolts here. Have a great selection and when I saw the original bolts were short a quick ride to ACE and back and the job was done. Their price on stainless is crazy but they had the right one to fit the original acorn nut. I have to add to that the staff at my local ACE are knowledgeable and friendly. Strange for NY.
