5-6 day ride

Planning a 5-6 day ride late May or early June to Arkansas, Missouri and W. Tennessee.
Would like to hear from some of you that live/ride in these areas for road, points of interest, places to stay, eat (best BBQ) and any other suggestions.
Thanks

Just noticed the updated profile showing 07 Red/Silver. Was hoping you would get 08 Red & Black. Then we could be twins!!

Lots of good places to ride in Missouri and Arkansas. Sounds like a nice trip.

Coming out of W. TN. plan a meal at Lambert's in Sikeston, MO. You might want to spend the night there because you will be to full to walk, that along ride. There is just so muce to see and ride in S. MO. I would suggest coming north out of Sikeston and taking the following: 61N to 77N to72W to 21 N to 32 W to 19 S to 160 W to 125 S. Cross the free ferry into Arkansas. If no one gives you any suggestions for Arkansas I will post some for you.

Another thought; The end of June is the Central KawaNOW rally in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. My buddy Rick and I will be doing some group rides out of there during the rally. Come down to that and say HI.

OK, Arkansas: After crossing the ferry continue on 125 S to 14 W to 63 S to I-55 S to I-40 E and back into Tennesse. If you take my ride suggestions for MO and AR it will take the biggest part 3 days for it.

go here http://www.motorcycleroads.us/wa.html

Select your state at the bottom of the page

Roads are color coded for twisties, sweeping curves, scenic, and unpaved.

Dixie,
The plan is we'll meet someplace in Alabama. If' it's cold we ride south if it's warm we ride north. Plan on staying in the cabins at state parks when ever possible. So far two riders from Florida, on from Louisianna and me.

That's the kind of plan I like. Flexibility allows a higher fun factor.
