Yep entirely her choice. I was fine with her riding on back. We do everything else together so this will just be another thing. I could've gone either way, but am real happy she wanted to do this.

Funny thing about my wife is, she always wanted a smaller bike, but still needs to be comfortable on long trips and on the highway. She always swore my Volusia was TOO BIG, but somehow she handles the 900 Vilcan like a pro. She drags the boards quite regularly and thinks nothing of it now...

Practicing in the neighborhood following classes (she passed). My lil motorcycle mama.
That 650 looks big with her on it. This is after I lowered it a couple inches.

She's doing well.

Kinda scarry letting go of that umbillical cord. Just me, but would suggest she wear some type of MC jacket, even practicing around the neighborhood, if she scrapes her elbow and gets an boo boo, it would suck. A set of crash bars like on the Nomad would also be a nice addition. Safe Riding

Crash bars are on the agenda. I agree about the jacket too. Not to make excuses (because you're right) but I just had her working with clutch engagement. Ease it out and let it roll 5' stop and repeat. Over and over and over. Had her go up and down the parking lane of our little side street.

She was riding a little 125cc bike for her classes and had gotten used to that particular bike's clutch action. She doesn't have much seat time on her own bike yet. All just parking lot practice.

On a side note. She's a Registered Nurse and gets the majority of her patients right out of ER. A good number of those patients are motorcycle accident victims. She's fully aware of what pavement does to skin.

She's got a nice little ventilated Joe Rocket jacket with full pads. I'll try to convince her to wear it for her next practice session. Even if it's walking pace drills.
