Don't know about the causes of the Nomad's wobble.
You've got to hand it to Kawasaki, when they make a clone, they clone it all. :)

I hope you heal. It sounds like you'll be back long before I will. I too went down recently. I'm laid up with a broken leg.

I hope you heal rapidly and come back full strength. Good luck to you.

Thanks to all for the well wishes,
I am sure I am going to physically heal quite quickly.
the hardest part is going to try and determine the cause..... and without knowing that am how much am I really going to be willing to risk on the bike.
I've got some hard soul searching to do with my family.... but thank you all for your help so far, and when I have some more details on the bike which might be able to point to a cause thanks for help there too!

b.

I just home home from mac. Brian. Damm it eh!! Glad your alive and kicking bro. The wobble can come from many issues..usually a combo. Loose steering bearings..sometimes worn, cupped tires, swingarm brgs worn, loose swingarm, dry swingarm and dry shock mounts. All of these combined will shake the Nomad pretty badly. Take care Brian..keep in touch...John

LOL! Your wife wants you to spend more $ on a bike, and my wife wants me to stop...
Of course if I need to spend a bit on her bike, it seems ok. Hmmmm.

I've sat here for thirty minutes or so trying to put into words how much closer life is in the living after cheating death once again. Can't quite carve the words today. Most if not all the pain will pass, leaving only the scars to remind us where we've been and what we lived through. I pray you have the family and friends close to support you as I have had and have still. May your recovery be quick, your healing complete, and your love of life and those around you last forever. Hang on to the positives, get over the negatives, give thanks for what you still have and make things better for those you can. Breath deep but take your pills first. They say laughter is good medicine but in your case maybe you'd better just smile real big and laugh with your eyes.
