That finger I broke is still a little problem because i could not stop working, and when I crashed in Aug 05 they didn't heal till Feb 06 because i couldn't stop riding and or working.

If you mung around with joints they will be slow to heal and not heal as fast as they might.

I think someone should recieve HD Broken Wings fer this though.....

I am still not caught up on these threads, and don't know what happened yet exactly. So far my best guess is a rear tire blow out.
No Bill, I had a bad speed wobble that threw me off the bike. I won't be riding anything very soon. they installed five screws and a plate, and I can see three of the screws under the cast.
Nothing else caused the wobble? Usually it takes something like a rear blow out, or something a rider does like brake sharply right after accelerating hard, and or a road grind surface..

Just wobbled hard up first, out of no where eh? Strange..

I hate stuff like that, that has no reason. I still don't like my August 05 crash, where I have decided, but can't prove the trailer jumped the hitch, which caused a rear end tank slapper and took us down at 15 mph.

That was strange too, and I had time to think about putting a foot down, but decided against it, and to ride it down. The time alone to think was strange.

You could always set on the bike in the back of the truck for awhile. That way you could say you rode a bike part way to the rally.
Maybe Al would drive the truck through the Dragon and you could say you rode the bike on the dragon.

Another Man Down!

Hey Steve, sorry to hear about the accident. I had 2 plates and 12 screws put in my ankle about 14 weeks ago so the whole experience is quite fresh for me. The challenge is for ankles and wrists is getting the mobility back after being immobilized. I was casted for 5 weeks and am still fighting to regain my ankle movement. Have only been able to walk crutch free for the last 3-4 weeks or so now. My advice for what it is worth, get into physio as soon as you can after you are out of any casts, and make sure they are actually hands on working with you.

Take care!

Thanks Corey,They havn't even mentioned physio yet, but you can bet that I'll be there. there are three pins that will be pulled out in about six weeks. The plate and screws will be removed in a year or so.
