Did you notice the backrest on the one the American Picker owned?
I don't think it is a Grasshopper rest

Above is a pic of another that Mike from American Pickers owned.
Greg - I went back and listened to the video again and the guy in the video mentioned it being 1 of 3 "v-twins" that he knew about. Your pic of a 1913 Harley doesn't appear to be a v-twin like the one in the video. There must have been different engines that year. ???
Yeah... I stand corrected on that, now that you make the point. Good call! ;)

Ring... that would be a lot of work to get a bike that old working again. Don't know that I'd care to do it.

TC... that was Grasshopper's prototype!!!

Maggie Vally to Leeds AL would be over 300 miles one way. Quite a day trip.

I think you guys would be better off to go to the museum locally there called "Wheels in Time"; or something similar. They have a world-class collection of bikes.

Absolutely Tim, Al and are going to try to fit it in on the Friday after the rally, that depends on the weather of course. There are so many things I want to do when Im down there for the week, that I may have to make a couple choices.

DC, we are not talkin' day trip. We are talkin' after the rally is over we head that way.
I know Cindy and I are going to take a little tour on the way home. Figured on going through Alabama anyway.
