Just changed the coolant today (while the bike is all stripped down to replace the fuel pump) and used Prestone 50/50 premix extended life silicate free etc from WalMart.

The lsat time i changed the anti-freeze in mine I used prestone 50/50 ,seems to work good in mine so far.

Engine Ice, Also Amsoil is now offering a simular product. With these high temps here in the south it will drop the average engine temp around 15-20 degrees. Does not change the protectives for the engine. Stay clear of tap water if you mix your own with regular coolant. Use only distilled water, or you will have a build up from the minerals or chlorine in the water. If you use Engine Ice, use a vinegar flush before topping off.

I use the Honda anti-freeze also Mitch. Night Flight is there a problem with using the Honda anti-freeze? It is the only brand my local dealer carries.

Dark Siders know what I meant by "You're gonna bust your a$$." Sorry I confused some of the non-Dark Siders. Y'all are safe with the Honda anti-freeze. Now.... go read the Dark Side threads. LOL
