first ride of the year

Finally had the opportunity to skip out of work today and put the nomad thru it's first spring training workout! Temps near 70 and no snow...the stress of the long long winter melts just like the snow did The bike preformed like winter never happened... just need to get some new tires..real soon.

I left work early today too, and got a short ride in. Then I came home and spent a couple of hours cleaning and polishing chrome. Ahhhhhh........Spring!!!!!

Nothing like the first ride of spring. Like you said, you just forget that winter ever happened. I'm hoping to get my first ride in within the next ten days.

first ride of the year

I got my first rides in this week! It was great! I took the long way home from work last night (1 1/2 hrs). Went around Lake Wisconsin the lake was still frozen and I was riding at a nice 50 degrees. I really like that sensation of warmer air and the cool air off the frozen lake. There are nice twisty roads all along the way... now it's 34 degrees and snowing. I sure hope they don't have to salt in town tonight!

first ride of the year

I'm very happy to join the "first ride of the season" club today! Had a very nice 2 hr ride and she ran perfectly. The new tires got rid of the vibration I had last year and, more importantly, the head shake/wobble I complained about last season is completely gone. Amazing whata new pair of tires can do!! :)

My first ride of the year!! Had both my bikes out for a spin today. Dirty roads, but that could´t stop me. About 10 deg. Celsius and almost cloud-free.
Life is good...

I have ridden some even in Feb but it has been a cold winter for us. Friday was about 74 here. But I was home with the crud. Today however it is 29 and snowing. That's Oklahoma.

Rode to work every day this week, a little chilly in the AM but the ride home was great!
