Well If'n I could afford it right now, I'd love me one of dem new Injuns! I'll stick with my Nomad a few years most likely.

A few weeks ago I received a card in the mail from Harley that said:

"Is the bike in your garage really the one PARKED IN YOUR HEAD?"

It referenced their web site where they are offering an additional $500 off for any non-Harley traded in on a new Harley.

Not to be outdone, I received today an email from Victory offering an additional $1000 off any Victory model for members of the military, both active and retired. But there's a short fuse on this one, December 31st.

It's always nice when competition (and a recession) results in lower prices. But I guess I won't be acting on either of these offers since I am totally satisfied with my 06 Nomad.

I especially like the exhaust sound, which I have heard called the "Harley Lick"...
Too expensive, but at least we're not talking 'New Indian Brand Bucks"...

Tell you what...I am an expert and unbiased person...Let me test the biggest and most fully-equpped Ultra Glide classic for, say, 10 years or so, and I'll give you a full report, and I won't even charge a fee...
