I got my project bike for this winter

A 2005 Victory Touring Cruiser (in my sig pics).

It's going to be interesting next spring. I was seriously considering working on a sport bike since the Nomad has everything I need. It just "fits." I've had 3 Vulcans, including this Nomad. Of course, because I didn't HAVE TO HAVE the Victory, I got it at a pretty good price.

A sport bike restoration would have been for diversion. Also, I don't see myself riding a Goldwing-type bike and something like the Victory Vision -- even though eye-catching -- is TOO radical looking for me. I'm like a newly hatched bird that imprinted that cruisers are the epitome of practical, two-wheeled transportation.

Damage-wise, it looks like the owner clipped something low on the left side and then flipped to the right side.

Now, if I can just be patient on collecting the replacement parts . . . I don't do too well on eBay when I REALLY want THAT part!!

It does resemble a Vulcan quite a bit, that should be a good project as it looks like it doesn't need to much.
