That is where I got mine, great dealer, great service. Better pricing is out there though at www.surdyke.com. The site is not as nice, but once you pick the model, just use the part number and get a great price.

I tried again later and was able to get to www.premeux.com. Their webpage says it's under construction. Right now, it's only in french.

I emailed Scootworks yesterday, inquiring about which side their trunk is hinged on. The pictures on the website clearly show them hinged on the right side.

Quote:
Hey Cactusjack,

The SuperTrunk III is hinged on the left side as you're facing the bike from
the rear. Some of the photos show some trunks that were hinged on the right
by request. Our standard is to hinge on the left. I will add that to the
description on the website to make it more clear.

Thanks for your inquiry, we look forward to doing business with you.

Best Regards,
Steve Brown
Scootworks
I hope this clears up any confusion.

I have the Premeux trunk w/luggage rack and chrome mounting bracket. I love it! It's spendy, but looks great, comes with factory matching paint and pin striping...and bolts on in 20 minutes! Serge is great to work with and it was delivered within two weeks of my original order!

I added a rear light bar from Chromeglow and a Vulcan backrest emblem. I also put in a HD tour pack organizer in the lid, and some 3/8 chrome door edge molding on the upper lid. I really like the whole look and functionality!

Wow! Am overwhelmed with the great responses I have gotten, and have made up my mind to go with a HD style tour pack trunk, and add stuff as I get funds. My wife likes the wrap around armrests, and a chromed rack on top is a nice feature too. Thanks to all. now am searching for the price that's best. Wompum rack will be used to support it all, so that will be the first purchase to get going on. Am also fabricating a wiring harness for all of the rear gear, more on that later. But thanks everyone, this web site is now been added to my "favorites" list.

Keep in mind that if you use a Tour Pak off an Ultra Classic it will have the rear brake lights and side marker lights already built into it. I wish that my bike had the Ultra Pak installed for that very reason.

The newer King Tour Paks also have side marker lights that wrap around the back, plus add a spoiler with the light kit and it looks real sharp IMHO.

You can buy the wraparound lights for it from HD. You'd better be okay with the concept of drilling some major holes in your new trunk if you do that though. I am trying to decide how to illuminate my new Scootworks trunk that will be here Wednesday.

I have no problem drilling and cutting holes in the Tour Pak, I wont pay those prices they want for the lights. Someday I hope to come across one at a decent price and either switch them or transfer the parts over.

I was lucky enough to find one painted to match my 08 on ebay. came with a wompus rack, carpeted, visor organizer and trunk pocket. I still need a chrome rack for the top but it was off an ultra and it had the lights in it all ready. it was like 900 delivered. So they are out there if your patient for a HD one. I found a guy here who went to an autobody place for paint, the had computer analizer for paint and he gaurenteed he would be happy for the match. that was for a fairing but he got it painted for like 140 bucks and I saw it and it matched really good. had the metal fleck and everything. one thing I found out afterwards, I like my trunk a little farther back than some, so the standard wompus rack was not long enough, however he posted on here, that if told ahead of time he can add some inches to the rear of the rack. I'll end up fabing my own but would go this route if I was to order one new! you can see in the bottom pic that mine only goes to just past center of trunk.

Nice tourpak, Borto. How does the lid organizer attach? Velcro? Double sided tape?
