Anyone using the Tour Pak Trunk?

I found a tour pak trunk on ebay, and was wondering if anyone is using this trunk. If so how do you like it and can you post some pics?

Chmorro,

Have one on my bike. Love it. Do yourself a favor and put a wompus rack on it. Incredibly easy to put and strong. Not at a computer with pictures of the bike but will try to post some later.

Go here and you will find the rack and many pictures of trunks.

Hey chmorro,

I also put one on my bike. Did not do the wompus or scootworks rack. Made my own as I like the hand grips for the passenger. If you go to the enthusiasts page, you can see me on my bike. I am 10 down and 3 in. I really enjoy mine and so do the people who ride with me. The back rest fits my passengers great. Hope you get a decent price off ebay. I did a lot of bids before I got one for a decent price.

go on ebay and search nomad trunk and a new Tour Pak trunk will come up. It looks pretty good, but it calls for only an 8" rack to mount. I have the Fire and Steel rack which is big enough, but I'm not sure those mounting brackets they have are going to be sufficient though. Just wanted to see some posts of some on this site. I thought of just buying the kuryakyn classic roll bag, it seems big enough and I could take it off if I didn't need it.

I got a tour pack off of E-Bay for $99. The company is Motorcycle-parts. I can put in two large open face helmets in it. I also went to wompus for the rack. I also mounted a rack on top of it

Towering,
I believe that is the rack I saw on ebay for the same price. Looks great! How is the quality of plastic and finish of the paint? Also did you attempt to install on the stock fire and steel rack prior to purchasing the wompus rack? Reason I'm asking is I have a fire and steel stock rack which is like 9"X9", and when I looked at the website for the rack the mounting brackets look like they will run parallel with the bars on the rack which lead me to believe there is nothing from keeping the rack from moving fore and aft. I'm trying to get a feel for how wide the pak is. Do you have any other photos taken straight from the back and front? I can justify spending $100 on the Pak, but that Wompus rack is expensive!! Any photos and feedback would be much appreciated!! Thanks, and again the bike looks sharp!!!

For $100 im pleased with the quality and the paint job is very good. I didnt have a fire and steel rack to try it on. The back rest on the trunk is a bit firm but the wife dosent complain about it

I'll be buy a Premeux tour pack and fairing in about a month. They also paint it the two tone color as the nomad. $1600 for the trunk and $1400 for the fairing. I'm also adding the radio setting up.

We did a tour pac for a gentleman,(along with a tank bib and saddlebag chaps) and it came out looking great. I highly recommend them, they look just fantastic on the Nomads....
