I like them all :) the VOYAGER looks like a attack on the Ultra more then the Wing...The fairing is OK but the more I look at it the better I like it.If I trade up to a Full blown tour model the Voyager just cut into my HD Ultra thinking:)..Will see .. ::)........Rich

Awesome. I like em all. Very glad to see the Nomad go to a 6 speed tranny.

The Voyager I believe was put out there to compete against the Ultra's and if the price is right, it has me hooked. I like the style of the front fairing with the inset headlights and the overall styling of the bike itself.

Just so happens I nearly put my Nomad on the market last month and was considering buying an 08 Nomad. I think I am going to wait it out now for the 09's. I need to decide between the Voyager and the Nomad, but having a penny pinching wife, I believe it will be the Nomad. Both of us ride solo on short trips so the Voyager would be hard to ague for.

Either way, you cannot go wrong. :)

uh oh, my wife is going to kill me, i think i just found my... i mean our new bike. That is an impressive lookin touring bike. Cant wait to see it on the floor.

I was just perusing the Yamaha website and for the 2009 Royal Star Venture, they include a 5-year/unlimited miles warranty INCLUDING 24-hour roadside assistance. That's a pretty decent warranty, compared with Kaw's 12 months/unlimited miles for the Voyager.

It is my guess that the shorter warranty will help them keep the pricing within a range of marketability.

Then again; it could mean that even they don't trust its reliability!

I also thought the 12 month warranty was an indicator of possible problems. I got my 05 because it came with 24 months. Last time I looked at a GW, the dealer said something about 36 months. Even Harley is giving 24 months. What gives with Kawasaki?

I would guess they're trying to keep the price down..........the price on the Nomad hasn't changed since???

I'm hoping that a mistake in wording was made and it is really the 24 months that it has always been.

Me too Dan. In some areas with weather like mine, a 12-month warranty translates to a 6-month warranty in reality. Not near long enough.
