Buffalo Chip

:)Hi everyone I’m new to this forum have already got a lot of valuable info on the nomad, which I drive a 2008 and absolutely love it. Which brings me to my real question? Has anybody been to the Buffalo chip at Sturgis and if so is one site better than another. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome Sarge1057, Some folks here make it to Sturgis for bike week and probably know the Bchip. But, isn't closed now until next year? Maybe making long term plans.

BTW, does you handle have anything to do with the light bulb?

Kawanow Rally will be better, different for sure. Then again, probably need to do Sturgis once. Where you from, might be plenty of chances to meet some K'NOWers before then.

Having been to Sturgis several times I have not gone out to the Buffalo Chip. A cousin of mine went and was told if I like to see naked people (men, women) and party all night, that is the place to be at. Now they do have some really good bands come and play during the rally. If you are just looking for a place to camp out, there are other places for not too much money. Just need to be ready for weather change. 3 times there, rain 3 times.

I'll second what naugaman said. I haven't been to the Buffalo Chip, but my friends that have been to Sturgis say that you need to be prepared for wild, crazy, loud people if you stay there. I can't recall the campground's name that they stay at, but I guess it's the one for "quiet" people.

Thanks to all the responses, I heard that about the buffalo. As soon as I get time to figure out how to post a pic I will. I’ve seen a lot of nice nomads on the forum.
