Flag Mounts

It's been awhile since I added any bling to the 'Nad. Last week for my 50th B-Day, my dad bought me a couple flags I have been looking at for awhile. In keeping with my Avatar and my Viking heritage, I added the US-Norway combo to my luggage rack. It grew on me the second I had the bolts tight... :)! I think it looks pretty good, but I know flags aren't for everybody.

I already have an answer ready for the first HD prick who gives me lip about my US flag. "Well....the bike wasn't made in Norway either, so what's you're point... ???"

Here's where the flags and mounts came from...

I think the protocol for a U.S. display of the U.S. flag is that it would be on the right going forward.

Looks very good.

Bob,
That's kind of what I thought, but I asked someone who I thought would/should know and he told me wrong. In researching myself (which I should have done in the first place), I see you are absolutely right. I will make the switch. Thx for the heads-up!

Good find, Kris. I have been trying to figure out a way to mount a flag on my Nomad since I added the big tourpak. This solves the problem.

Those flags look good. Maybe I'll do the same with the Swedish flag.
