My 06 has over 65,000 miles and is completely stock.
mileage has always been between 40 and 43 MPG.

12v Power Outlets- Any Suggestions?

Mine is a Wally world wired into accessory plug in headlight bucket. Stuff it inside fork covers when not in use and plastic tie to handle bars when needed.

Throttle Lock / Cruise Control

I replaced the "flip-a-lever" with the "Cruise-Mate". The threads stripped on the flip and the maker stopped selling it at the time. The "Cruise Mate" is very high quality made from stainless...

The filter valve cores do not work well in right angle valve stems.
Been using the beads for many years and never had a problem with standard valve cores.
