I don't know if this'll help or not; I have a Harley Bat Wing fairing on mine, along with my 2x4 risers; no issue with it.
I'm not familiar with the Reckless, clearances, though.

Well, I did it. I pulled all this stuff, and did the grease fitting, and serviced the driveshaft, changed final drive oil. I took it out in the twisties yesterday, laid it over in the curves, no more...
