Motorcycle drivers backrest
I am interested in a backrest for a 1600 Nomad, are they hinged to make it easier for passenger to get on bike, my wife is not as flexible as she used to be.
Thanks, Gary |

I have one of these and it can be removed without tools for the passenger to get on and then put back on. It is sort of a tab slot design. The slotted part bolts on solid and the actual backrest tabbed portion is inserted into it.

You slide the backrest out from between the passenger and driver seat, let your wife get on the bike and then you have a great excuse to play around between your wifes legs in order to reinstall the backrest.

Good suggestion, TC. I've got several ladies in our Mardi Gras krewe that have been wanting a ride on the new trike. Some aren't bad looking, either! lol

they are not adjustable but you can bend the mounting bracket to a certain degree. Most everyone who has bought them, like them.
The adjustable rests cost around $360.

I am backrest shopping as we speak. Would love to help support one of our brethren but the lack of adjustability is a concern.
