Left Friday afternoon to go to my son's place in Starkville MS when I pulled in the parking lot of his apartment I had a flat on the rear ( glad I made it to his place) anyway I checked it out and had run over something that cut a v in the tire so was afraid that I couldn't plug it. I took his bike and rode back home on Saturday only 132 miles then Sunday I loaded his bike on my trailer took it back to him and tried to plug my tire just to get it on the trailer it is still holding air! So this morning I ordered a 195/60R16 Dun lop SP Sport 5000 Symmetrical tire now all I have to do is mount it has anyone mounted there own CT and if so was it any harder than a motorcycle tire?

I haven't Jime. Is this your first CT? Let me know how it goes as my rear tire is down to its last miles. I might get another 1,000 or so out of it. Front will last maybe 2,000 more. I can't handle this mileage we get on motorcycle tires.

Jim, had my Dunlop 5000 installed last week and the mechanic told me it was easier to mount then the motorcycle tires. Softer side walls. I have the same size tire you bought.

Jim, haven't you been listening to Dan? Hey says we don't have enough experience with car tires on bikes to make a decision on running one!!
