Gorilla Cycle Alarm

Just wondering if anyone has installed one of these alarms on their Nomad. I got one for Christmas and could use any hints on installation.

Never even heard of it.. Good luck with the install and post your impressions when you are done.

Which model alarm? I have never seen one, but the Gorilla website has installation instructions. It seems fairly straightforward.

Here is a link for the 707 model. I don't know which unit you have but there are instructions for different models. I just used the one for the first model I came to.

http://www.gorilla-auto.com/pdf/7007...structions.pdf

Hope this will help you.

I'm sure he probably has instructions, I was going to review the instructions for the model he has and see if there are any "gotchas" he should watch out for.

Cactusjack your right I have the installation instructions. I was looking for the "gotchas" to watch out for. Pretty straight forward installation; wire to battery, turn on. I remember putting in a car alarm once and the motion sensors where a pain in the butt to get correct. I'll let you know how things work out.

I had one on my Vulcan Classic. Really not hard to install. If I remember correctly, I think the only minor issue was making sure the sensor is in a level position. Overall, a simple install. If I could do it, anybody can do it.

John,

Not to change the subject but I lived in MA for a good 40 years or until I got sick of snow and cold and moved south. What town do you live in?? I used to live in Dudley, Millbury, Sutton, and Worcester.......

I live in Somerset, which is across the Taunton River from Fall River. Speaking of snow, we are about to get dumped on again. Looks like 18" by tomorrow night. :'(
