With a few items mounted on brackets wherever I could find a space, I decided to build a "dash" panel to tidy up the mounting. This is what I ended up with. I now have the GPS directly in front of me with the other items neatly arranged with space for "extras". I ensured the panel was not in the way of either my instruments or my field of vision above fairing/screen. What do you think?

Jet fighter cockpit....what the hell are all those things??? Start with the gauge on the left side near the mirror.

I fabricated it from 2mm alluminium sheet, rolling to achieve curves, fabricated and welded brackets each end and centre, fixed to windscreen bracket. Once I had cut the holes for switches etc. it was shot blasted and black powder coated. From left to right, bar mounted thermometer, water temp, tacho, oil pressure, bar mounted clock. On dash, left to right, cigar lighter accessory socket, switches/warning lights for spotlights/headlight, Garmin Sat Nav, Acumen voltmeter/gear indicator.

Great job. If I tried to do something like that I'd be missing a finger or something and it would look like a Pre-K kid's try at origami.
