Weekend to myself

My wife and kids are gone for the weekend. I have the whole house to myself! Well, along with 2 dogs and a cat.

Alright, guys...do you prefer your filets prepared on the gas grill or charcoal? I have both.

How about some nice grilled jumbo prawns on the side (surf and turf!) and baked potatoes?

Dang. Now I'm getting hungry. I'll probably just go get some Mexican food for dinner if you guys don't show up.

Actually my wife gets home tommorrow and I'm eatin Papa Johns right now. My mom always said I'd starve in a house full of food. ::)

The weather will be great this weekend down here. Highs in the mid 70's with clear skies. The wife and I are taking a long one day ride to Columbia, Mississippi. We haven't had the chance to do this since the plant flooded. Been working 12 hour shifts 7 days a week since Ike. Tentative timeline for startup is 11/23. Got three days off this weekend!!

I'll pick some up fresh out here on the coast and bring them with me...maybe I'll pick up some Salmon or Lean Cod as well, while I'm at it.

Oh, and mesquite charcoal tests the best, but the gas grill cooks faster and we'll all have to eat and run back home.
