Awful quiet on here?

Whats everyone doing? I'm busy at work, racing season is over and just trying to get my shop cleaned up. Got lots of honey do projects to get done. I'm riding the bike to work tomorrow though. Been raining the last couple of days. Buried the wifes dog yesterday.

Thanks Bud Man. It was Vickie's dog but I was attached too. Hard to lose a buddy.

It's getting a bit cold to ride up here in KC. The mornings this week have been around 45-50 with a few 30mph wind gusts. Its a shame because for the most part its been pretty nice in the afternoons. May try to get in a few miles this weekend. It should be in the 60s on Saturday. But I suspect my riding is about to end for this season.

Yeah, it's tough in the mornings here when it get 45 and below. The afternoons make up for it.

Sorry about your dog.My last dog was 16 when I had to put him down.That was over fifteen years ago and it still hurts to look at a picture of him.
We are running up the Trace Saturday.I think we will go as far as Rocky Springs and on the way back,stop at the Country Store in Lorman Ms for chicken and ribs.

Sorry about the dog. I had to put my golden down about two months ago. Still is hard on the heart.

I'm waxing my skis. There's snow on them there hills. Sorta switching to my winter activities and adding a stereo to my Nomad. Still gettin an occasional ride in.

Sorry about the loss of your wife's dog, Bobby, I lost my Shetland Sheepdog back in February. He was just over 11 years old. I cried like a baby as I dug his grave and then laid him in the ground. I get way too close to my pets. But sometimes tears help get you through a sad part of your life.

Sorry about Vickie's dog, Bobby. Tough to lose a pet and a friend. Haven't been doing anything, but work. Went to my niece's wedding in Dallas last Saturday. Plan to take advantage of the beautiful weekend coming up, and do a lit of riding. Don't know where yet, but who cares, right ?

Haven't been on the bike since antlers. Getting things ready for winter and deer season. We sighted in Liz's and my rifles last weekend. Been battling a cold again. And today I go down and have the nerves burnt in my lower back again. Hopefully that will get me through the winter without much problems. Looks like painting the house will have to wait until next spring now with the cold weather. Toy runs start saturday but I am not sure how many I will make this year. I am not enjoying life much right now.

Really sorry to hear about Vickie's dog. We have not had any dogs since we had to put down our labs several years ago. And just a few years ago the old cat developed cancer and had to put him down. It is never an easy thing to do.

Sorry about losing your buddy Bobby and Vickie. That's tough to go through. We had to put down our 15 yr old Dachshund a few years ago and the 15 yr old house cat died just a couple of months later. It was rough but time heals. Jim, I hope your back and neck are better after the nerve burning. Life is miserable with back pain.

1badbagger, where do you ski? I love snow-skiing and am wanting to plan a trip to CO this winter. Hopefully the funds will hold up so I can do it.

Anyway, it has been getting colder here in OK but the afternoons are worth the cold ride to work in the morning :). Toy runs are getting ready to start here also. Hopefully I'll have the time to do some of them.
